- Disconnect the power cable
- Hold down power button
- Reconnect the power cable
- While the power button still on hold, press twice the “Cancel/Stop” red button
- Release the power button
- The printer is now in factory mode…(wait about 30 seconds until it confirms “idle”)
- Press the down arrow (next to the “OK” button) until it says “Shipping Mode 1”
- Press the “OK” Button
- Now with it displaying “Without Cleaning” press the power button
- A test page should print
- Now open cover
- Disconnect the power again
- Take both cartridges out normally
- Close cover
- Reconnect power cable
- Press power button
- Replace cartridges

Reset Waste Ink Counter Canon Pixma MP210 and Canon Pixma MP220
There are some ways in resetting Canon Pixma MP210 and Canon Pixma MP220. Follow the instructions correctly:- Switch the printer off
- Press and hold resume Button (triangle in the circle) and click “Power” button. green led should be on
- hold the Power button, release Resume Button.
- Without releasing the Power Button, push twice “Resume” button and then release Both Buttons.
- Push “Resume” for four times then Push “Power” button, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber).
- Switch off the printer and switch on again
