Reset waste ink counter (error E16) For Canon MP Series

These are the step How to Reset waste ink counter (error E16) :
  1. Switch off the power button, press and hold STOP/RESET then push ON/OFF button
  2. While the power button on hold, press STOP/RESET button twice
  3. Release both of button, then run the printer in SERVICE MODE
  4. The printer will be charging
  5. After printer finish charging, push STOP/RESET button four times. (Waste ink counter reset)
  6. Every time you push STOP/RESET button, the LED indicator will change green and orange.
  7. Switch off the printer and take out POWER button
  8. Finally switch on the printer again.

Reseting Canon MP145 Waste Ink Counter

If your printer shows the message like this, “Error ink cartridges are not installed properly (error E5)”. I’d like to share the methods.
These are the methods should be taken:
  1. Switch the Power On
  2. Press and hold the power button
  3. Push Reset button once, then release the power button and push reset twice till 0
  4. Push + display change from 0 to 1 (push button + to change 0 to 1)
  5. Push the power switch on again, then Printer will be print 1 page
  6. (push power button –> start button till 1 page.)
  7. Open cover
  8. Unplug power cable
  9. Take out ink PG 40 and PG 41
  10. Plug in the power cable
  11. Switch on the power button
  12. Open cover (scan cover)
  13. Replace Ink PG 40, PG 41 again

Reset Canon Pixma MP460 Manually

Here some methods how to Reset Ink Level Canon Pixma MP460 Manually
  1. Disconnect the power cable
  2. Hold down power button
  3. Reconnect the power cable
  4. While the power button still on hold, press twice the “Cancel/Stop” red button
  5. Release the power button
  6. The printer is now in factory mode…(wait about 30 seconds until it confirms “idle”)
  7. Press the down arrow (next to the “OK” button) until it says “Shipping Mode 1”
  8. Press the “OK” Button
  9. Now with it displaying “Without Cleaning” press the power button
  10. A test page should print
  11. Now open cover
  12. Disconnect the power again
  13. Take both cartridges out normally
  14. Close cover
  15. Reconnect power cable
  16. Press power button
  17. Replace cartridges
